Veneers

A veneer is a wafer-thin porcelain cover cemented to the front of a tooth to hide imperfections.

Dentists use veneers to close a gap, hide a chip, lengthen a tooth, or improve its appearance. It’s a strong, semi-permanent solution to aesthetic problems.

It will not stain like a natural tooth, and you will not need to replace it as often as a white composite filling. Veneers bond well to tooth enamel but not to dentine or fillings, which is why they work best on teeth that do not have excessive fillings. If you want to improve a heavily filled tooth, a dental crown is the best solution.
